Pistols and rifles

Pistols and rifles are firearms that include classic and tactical variants. 9mm pistols are one of the most common pistols, popular in both civilian and military use. Classic firearms generally include weapons that do not have a picatinny rail.

Guns can be of various calibers and differ in their purpose of use. Sniper rifles are specially designed for long-range precision shooting and are often equipped with advanced optics and other accessories. Military rifles / tactical rifles are designed for durable and reliable use on the battlefield, usually being fully automatic. Tactical rifles and shotguns are designed for use in special tactical situations. Short distances or confined spaces create the need for more compact weapons with picatinny rails that able to attach accessories.

Police pistols are customized for use by police and other law enforcement agencies and may vary depending on specific regulations and requirements. They can accommodate both 9mm (and other calibers) and can be equipped with special safety features.

Semi-automatic rifles are generally common in civilian market and typically use only one cartridge per trigger pull. This allows greater control over firing compared to using the “barrage” function of fully automatic weapons.

Pistols and rifles can be purchased in the Republic of Estonia by a person who has successfully passed the weapons exams.
